Womxn’s Week Speakeasy

March 5 @ 6:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Join us for a special Womxn’s Week speakeasy featuring performances by talented local womxn! There will be a beginner swing dance lesson at 8pm, a live swing jazz band with special guest vocalists and dance performances during the band break. Join us beforehand at 6pm for a screening of the film Suffragette set in 1912 London about a young working who is galvanized into radical political activism supporting the right for women to vote.

– $10 (includes free drink)

Accessibility:
The Victoria Event Centre is on the second storey of a building up a rather steep flight of 27 stairs. There is a continuous handrail up the stairwell and our workers/organizers are available to provide assistance as directed.
