As we approach Kanadian federal elections, Greenpeace & climate justice groups are organizing a coordinated national day of action calling for a Green New Deal in the fall! Seven cities from coast to coast will be taking over the streets altogether to paint their vision of a Green New Deal which will act as a call to action. On Saturday September 14th, we’re offering a street mural training to prepare for these actions and learn the basics on how to design and implement street murals! We will go over design, location, strategy, materials, prep & security!
This event is for anyone interested in skilling up their arts-based action knowledge and wanting to help coordinate a mural action in the fall in Victoria, on unceded Lkwungen territory.
